All-Star Baseball has its dificiencies.  The most glaring is the lack of any provisions for pitching stats.  (with fielding and baserunning close behind)  Here's a place to discuss and post suggested expansion ideas.

PITCHER DISC EXPANSION

Well, I finally got around to completing the much anticipated expansion to All-Star Baseball that introduces pitcher discs.  The basic concept is the same as the batter discs. Use the pitcher's actual stats to determine the outcome of the pitch.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Basically, pitcher discs are spun first, and batters discs are used when directed to.  Segments on the pitcher disc take this into account.  The defensive player places their current pitcher's disc into the spinner slot nearest them and spins.   The number is then checked against the RESULTS CHART and the appropriate action is completed.  Fly Out and Ground Ball results utilize the existing ASB charts.  Home Run, Walk, and Strikeout are self-explanatory.  "Batter Disc" entries indicate that the offensive player should use their batter disc to resolve the play.  At this point, the game plays just like "classic" ASB.

(note: "Pitcher Discs" have a baseball symbol on them to differentiate them from traditional "batter discs".  Don't attempt to use these pitcher discs as batter discs.  You'll get unexpected results.)
